Papel picado is a traditional Mexican hanging paper decoration, used for many fiestas, and especially Day of the Dead, representing the beauty and fragility of life as it blows in the wind.
Our designs are 100% hand-drawn and cut by artisan Prospero Gonzalez, of Puebla, Mexico, exclusively for our customers. Traditional papel picado is becoming harder to find, as factories take over the craft.
Each strip has 10 attached sheets, measuring about 14” each. All are Prospero's original Día de Muertos designs.
Strips available in paper or plastic film material for indoor/outdoor use.
Total strip length: 17 feet
